Crisis Navigation in TR Schools

At the time of a crisis, it is challenging for schools to organize an effective crisis navigation response and still maintain the required long-range perspective and day-to-day operations. In light of this challenge, it is essential for schools to have a preplanned and systematic organizational model to direct decisions should a crisis occur.
This self-paced training will assist school leaders in creating and strengthening a site crisis navigation team. Presenters will discuss anticipating the outcomes of a crisis, identifying how to use the broad range of skills represented by those on the school crisis response team, and better anticipate the future needs of the school population and develop plans to meet those needs.
