About This Workshop
Every successful school safety program starts with a vision—but keeping that vision alive for the long haul requires smart planning and sustainable strategies. Whether you are just getting started or looking to strengthen an existing program, this 90-minute interactive workshop will equip you with the tools to make it happen.
In this workshop, participants will engage in hands-on activities to reflect on goals, map out current contributors and resources, and discover new ways to expand your network. You will leave with next steps to ensure your school safety initiatives thrive well into the future.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the definition of sustainability planning
- Outline the steps to enhance program sustainability
- Know the next steps and NCSS resources to engage your school safety network and implement measures for staff sustainability
Application Process
- Apply as an individual or as a team (up to 4 people, including yourself)
- Submit your completed application by April 30, 2025.
- The National Center for School Safety will reach out regarding acceptance by May 2, 2025.
Who Should Apply
Ideal participants include school safety team leads, program or project managers, school safety liaisons, and others involved in planning or implementing sustainable school safety initiatives.
